Okay, so suppose you discover that someone has a very dangerous object in their possession. This person is, to put it charitably, a bit of an airhead. They've already accidentally killed someone, and it's likely they'll do it again if not stopped.
Unfortunately, you aren't in the same world with them (you hope), and don't know their real name or face. Also, they don't take sensible advice too well.
