"Okay, before I came here I had been away from my home for a while. I guess 'military tour of duty' would be the best analogy; It was long and dangerous and when we came back we were recieved as heroes.
"Sounds great, right? There's just one problem... now that I'm back at home, my mother is, well... she says she's trying to 'find me some new friends,' but since these 'friends' she's introduced me to all happen to be boys about my age from some of the upper-class families in Truce and Porre, it doesn't take a genius to figure out what's really going on. I tried explaining to my mom that finding a boyfriend is the LAST thing on my mind right now, but she doesn't seem to listen!
"So how do I convince my well-meaning mom to stop trying to set me up with dull, uppity, arrogant guys that I have absolutely nothing in common with?"
