There's soemthing glowing-- just a tiny speck of light-- in Rose's palm. She's watching it closely, a half-formed smile on her face.

"Would you do something just to see if you could do it? Even if it's something people say that you maybe shouldn't do...?"

"Yes."

"Oh, good answer. That was exactly the right answer." She grins broadly. "A man after my own heart. Have you found yourself doing something the mythical they said you shouldn't?"

[elementwizard]

He grins back at her and waves his left hand with the wedding ring on it, "Yes, actually, but not on purpose. There were wizards a thousand years ago that could control all four elements. They said that there would never be one like that again. But then I was born and I could do it. Though they wish I didn't." he creates a firey woman, that looks almost like her, if she were made of flames. "Ever since then it feels like I've done mythical stuff."

"Pretty!" She grins and waves to her flame effigy. "But, see, you haven't brought about the end of existance or anything yet? Silly moral compunctions. Reality takes itself too seriously."

[blindbandit]

"Yeah. I've done it before. What kind of something are we talking about?"

[lifeinbloom]

"I want to test the limits of my abilities. Nothing dangerous, of course. I'm the Spirit of Life, after all. I don't kill people anymore." Smiles brightly.

[blindbandit]

"I know how that is. So wait: you're the Spirit of Life and you used to kill people?"

[lifeinbloom]

"Well, I was the Spirit of Death then. They switched my brain, though, so now I don't kill people."

[vicioussweetie]

"That depends on what you want to do, and who's telling you you shouldn't do it."

[lifeinbloom]

"I want to make something special. Something no one else could do. I haven't asked them directly, but I suspect that my earstwhile companions and self-appointed moral compasses might argue that no one else does it because it shouldn't be done. Blah blah. Maybe it's religious?" Hums thoughtfully.

"Could you be a little more specific?"

[lifeinbloom]

"Well, it's kind hard to explain unless you can see things the way I do. I guess you could say that I want to bring life where there isn't any." She has a wide, 'I know a secret' grin. "It sounds really esoteric and all, but actually I just wanna do something really cool."

"I wouldn't care about people telling me not to do it, but I might listen to why. Don't want to blow myself up now."

[lifeinbloom]

"Oh, it's not dangerous. Certainly not to me. It's one of those moral things," waves a hand dismissively. "I kind of miss those days where I didn't have to worry about such things."

"Morals, tricky. Do whatever your own morals tell you is right, then."

[lifeinbloom]

"I don't have any!" She grins cheerfully. "But, they re-wired my brain to make me 'think' I should, so it confuses me sometimes."

"Dunno. I've never been entirely human, I don't think. 'Least, I can't remember ever being totally human. Is it normal?"

"Embodiment of the Spirit of Life. I'm not sure what that counts as."
