Hypothetically speaking you think you might have feelings for someone, but this someone is a complete moron.

Do you, hypothetically, see how it'll go just in case the feelings are just a case of pity? Or what would you do in such a situtation?

Why would you feel sorry for him anyway? If it's pity, that is. If you can figure that out, you might be able to use it to narrow down what you really think.
