"Well," Rock looks a bit uncertain. "Netto-sama is trying to kill someone...but the problem is...that might hurt his best friend. I want to stop him, but even if I find him, I don't know how."

Why would Netto want to kill someone? Who? And... *blinks* Did you just call him 'sama'?

[blue_hacker]

"Um...yes," Rock looks momentarily confused. "What else would I call him? He wants to kill someone who is causing Enzan-san pain...but that might hurt Enzan." He glanced over at the boy, actually looking at his this time. "Wait...Enzan-san? No, never mind. The eyes are wrong."

I'm an alternate, and you're still losing me. Who does he want to kill?

"Oh," Rock looked confused too. "He wants to kill Chaud...well, a Chaud, since there's probably more than one. One with blue hair."

*cue brainbreak* ...Why?!

Rock seemed a bit reluctant. "Well...he's unintentionally causing harm to our Enzan, who is Netto's best friend, and there doesn't appear to be a way to stop it. Enzan was going to do it, but I thought it might kill him if he was awake, so when I told Netto that he just...went. I couldn't stop him."

...So Enzan's going to kill him, or have Netto do it, because of something Chaud can't help. *facepalms* Does he even care what that would do to Proto?

"Um...I don't think he knows Proto very well. Or at all...or even of him?" Rock smacks his forehead. "He doesn't. I suppose he might be an obstacle too...which could be helpful in this case, if he can come into the real world that is." He tapped his chin thoughtfully. "You know, I think the only one oblivious to Netto-sama's plan is Enzan. He's asleep. Apparently he just can't take it anymore."

Does he know where to look for Chaud?

[blue_hacker]

"No. Not in the slightest. I think he was just going to portal-hop," Rock relaxed slightly. "All right, so he doesn't know where he's going. With his luck, he might get there anyway."

Portal hopping? Like teleporting?

[blue_hacker]

"...Sort of. The portals are invisible to most people, but those with...special abilties, like Netto-sama and Enzan-san, can see them." Rock looked away. He wasn't going to explain in full detail about the fact they were doppelgangers, as people would likely consider them evil.

*nooooow he's worried* And they can go anywhere?

"Um. Only where there are portals to. There aren't to everywhere. There are more the closer the worlds are, so sometimes they have to hop between two or three to get to various places." Rock knew the physics of this pretty well, he just wasn't sure how to explain it to someone who didn't.
