"There were reports today of sightings of a giant bat in Gotham city over the last little while. I figure with the amount of people in this place, someone might know something before I look into it. What can you tell me about it?" His cheeks are tinged pink as if he's recently been embarrassed but he certainly won't talk about it if asked.

A giant bat in Gotham? Sounds like Batman to me. Pretty scary guy, but he's generally on the side of the angels.
