Death seems oddly happy. HELLO, SAGES. HAVE YOU EVER HAD THAT FEELING WHEN YOU KNOW THAT YOU'VE MADE A WORLD A BETTER PLACE? WHAT HAPPENED?

*shrug* Such is my place in the universe. Many mortals aren't overly fond of death either, but it has its place.

Does death make the universe a better place, or does that just depend on the perspective?

THAT IS TRUE. EVERYONE HAS A PLACE, AND A TIME. DEATH IS NESCESSARY. THE WORLDS WOULD OVERFLOW WITHOUT DEATH. BUT I WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT THAT.

"Surely it can, My dear! You're one of the ones tormenting them before they're dead. Nothing quite like the fear of punishment and reprisal to keep folk from straying, even though that's still often not good enough."

wait....does that equal something GOOD?

Hell creatures aren't generally considered to be of 'good' ilk.

"Well, you are simply doing your job. It's not your fault if your job leads to people doing good deeds out of fear of reprisal; your Boss should have thought of that beforehand."

Ha....my Boss.....*smirks somewhat nastily*

He stormed out of Heaven because he didn't like being told what to do, only to do the telling.

*looks around, somewhat paranoid*

"But of course! His only real dispute about the pecking order was his place in it, was it not?" He's certainly grinning this time..
