D-Dark Rock? No... *frowns for a moment, then brightens* You're an alternate!

Dark Rock also brightens, "Netto-kun!" He wraps his arms around Netto's torso, looking like a kid in a candy store, "I'm not an alternate. I've been looking for you." He gave a tentative cuddle to Netto's end of the link, hoping the darkness wouldn't do anything to him.

*obligingly cuddles Dark Rock back, both physically and through the link. The darkness inside him swirls around in his mind, but it doesn't attack Dark Rock. It recognizes Dark Rock and accepts him there* But how's that possible? I'm still cross fused with you!

Dark Rock shrugs, too happy with seeing Netto and not being attacked by the darkness, "I don't know." He hugs tighter and presses again the link more.

Are you sure you're not an alternate? What was the last thing we did together? *basks in the warmth of the link with his brother, and maybe, just maybe, that warmth makes the darkness pull back for a bit*

"I'm sure. We were in the ruins. We crossfused again after we de-fused." He smiles a bit, not looking as dazed as he first did when he appeared.

*relaxes* Okay, yeah, I guess you really are the Dark Rock I know. I just don't understand... how it's possible. I mean, I'm still cross fused with you. You shouldn't be here.

But I guess this is why you didn't really feel "all there" inside me.

"I don't really know either." Dark Rock wasn't going to risk driving Netto away by telling him what really happened.

"I haven't been myself since we crossfused again. I ended up in the network somehow."

Do you think maybe your data split in two? And... I've still got some of it?

He hesitated a moment before answering, "That could be possible."

How do we get you back together again? Should we cross fuse again?

[darksoulrock]

"I don't think that's a good idea, Netto-kun. Maybe we should...go home?"

[hikari_netto]

*and just like that, the darkness returns, retaking the ground it had lost* I'm not going home, 'niisan. They want to take you away from me.

Dark Rock recoiled from the link slightly at the feeling of the darkness coming back, "Okay, we won't go home." He hugs tighter, clinging at this point, "I'll stay here with you."

*hugs Dark Rock a little tighter* Okay. Don't worry, 'niisan. I won't let anyone take you away from me.

"Good. I don't know if I could live if I couldn't be with you." He smiles brightly.
