My magic loses control. I've beated down a legendary monster said to be unbeatable by the gods once.

"Not that I've found yet. That wouldn't be very effective strategy."

"No, it wouldn't, but some people don't seem to think they need strategy."

"Someone who can't think their actions through is no more effective in combat than a Sniper Joe. Strategy is important. Some of the more memorable defeats among my older brothers can, in retrospect, be attributed to a lack of strategy."

"You won't get any arguments out of me. If you don't think things through, you've already almost lost."

"When someone attacks my friends. Mostly Terra... something about that just sets me off." She shrugged. "I know Terra can take care of herself, but I always find myself wanting to jump in and defend her."

"Yeah, friends in trouble can make you crazy, even when they're just as able to defend themselves as you are."

Quint fidgets and shrugs before admitting, "If I'm in a fight I don't want to be in. Against someone I don't want to hurt. I used to just blank out when that would happen. It hasn't happened in a while now, and I think it was just some sort of wierd programming glitch anyway. I have a lot of those."

"People talk about a lot of different things here, from serious stuff to asking everyone what their favorite ice cream is."

"So if you were fighting your friends, you couldn't control yourself? That's gotta be tough."

"Yeah. Or someone I didn't want to fight because they just didn't deserve it. But if I had orders, I had to. So it's like the part of me that couldn't do it would shut down until it was over." He shivers.

"It hasn't happened in a while, but I haven't been in a lot of fights in a long time. I'm hoping it's gone, though. It's something I've tried to fix, because of how dangerous it is."

"Hopefully it is. It doesn't sound like anything anyone should have to deal with."

"I'm just... curious, I guess." She doesn't seem like she's lying, exactly, but she does sound confused.
