Ahh, another day, another Blues, it would seem. This one is a bit peculiar right from the get-go; he falls into the Nexus, flat on his bum. "Owwie..." he mumbles, frowning as he stands and rubs his poor, abused rear. On seeing the sign, he stares a long moment, utterly fascinated

Zero gives him a puzzled look, before breaking a piece off his chocolate bar and offering it. "It's not a good idea to eat most things in the Nexus, but this is safe."

"Thank you, pretty lady," Blues grins happily, taking the offered piece and nibbling upon it.

"I'm not a girl," Zero protests, and pouts. "Why do I keep getting mistaken for a girl? Except for that one time I was genderswitched in the Nexus because I drank something I shouldn't have..."

Bubble tries not to snicker and pats Zero on the arm, reassuringly. "It's the hair. Don't worry about it, otōto."

"Ee!" Blues blinks, then blushes faintly, looking sheepish. "Sorry, didn't know, you have pretty hair though." ._. Aw, look, you made Blues sulk! Bad Zero!

Zero has never seen Blues sulk, and he watches for a moment before deciding on what, logically, should be the most effective course of action. At least, it works if Bubble's upset... he hugs Blues!

He also gets over gender confusion quickly. "It's not the first time that's happened, and I think part of it's the armor." He pokes at one of the infamous 'booblights' before sending his armor to data storage. He grins at the comment about his hair and nods. "I like my hair. Forte said I'd trip over it, but I never have."

"You don't act like the Blues I know. Are you younger than he is? I'm five months old now."

Blues beams and hugs Zero back, listening to him. At the question, Blues grins, giggling and shaking his head. "Nope! I'm a lot older than that. Let's see.." He tilts his head, frowning as he tries to figure up his age. "I was eight before I went to the moon. And.....I lost count somewhere around 23 there 'cause my internal clock broke. Mmm. I think it was a lot longer though."

Bubble listens, for the most part just staying quiet and letting Zero talk as usual.

"I think that's how old the Blues we know is, so you'd be older than him."

Zero just nods. "A lot of the other-mes here are a lot older. I don't ever want to be like them, though. Something very bad must have happened, because they forgot everyone."

"You're fun, though, even if you're older. Most of my brothers that are awake now are the older ones like Bubble. Even Slash is older than me. And Astro's back in the Gallery. It's easy to get bored."

"What do you do when you get bored, Blues?"

Blues grins.

"When I got bored on the moon I stacked the rocks to make shapes," he announces. "....I don't get this other-me thing. There's just me. There can't be more than one of me 'cause that would feel wierd." He frowns. Clearly he won't believe the concept of alternates until he meets one for himself.

Zero grins. He's been in the Nexus since the day after his activation, and feels this is a question he can answer. "That's because this is a multiversal nexus. So it connects different worlds and timelines. It doesn't mean they're exactly you, but there are a lot of things the same with most alternates."

"Most of mine look like me, but they've made stupid changes to their armor." He frowns for a moment, not understanding why someone would add squared sholders and yellow trim and fail to get rid of the booblights. If he was going to change his armor, they'd be the first things to go. "And they work for the government, which I'd never do, and a lot of other bad things."

"So they're sort of what I don't want to be like later, and knowing about them means maybe I won't have to because I'll know there's something to avoid."

"...I see..." he relaxes a little as he hears this explanation. "Still...I don't like the idea of another me. Doesn't feel right for some reason."

Zero nods and smiles. "That's ok. I don't like most other-me's either. And the only one that was young enough to play with wasn't very fun because he was mean to Bubble. And then he had to go home anyway."

"I miss Boomer. He's a friend I met here. We were going to go throw rocks at someone named Chill Penguin, but I wasn't allowed to visit other universes yet. I haven't seen him in a while, and I'm allowed to leave the Nexus now as long as Bubble stays with me."

"What kinds of shapes did you make with the rocks? Was it fun?"

((*Notices the icon mishap and splorflefits* Whoops!! Pretend I didn't use the genderflipped icon when trying to select the no-armor icon -.-; ))

Blues blinks in surprise.

"Other Blues...?" He winces slightly as a small pain comes to his head, then shakes his head quickly, frowning. "How is there another me? I'm me."
