Alec drops the opal in, shoving the rest of the junk in his pockets he looks thoughtful, "I'd say... OHMIGAWD That just did not happen! Why is he still alive and where did his third arm go...sardine?"
Chuckling as he stops playing and hands the old six-string up to you. You can tell it's been through a lot over the years, and there's a slightly faded band sticker on the underside, with a logo composed of five fox tails making a curved spiral pattern.

Alec does take it gently, with a nod. He holds it somewhat awkwardly as if he's used to something else for a second before picking out a spritely dance melody. "It's different from what I'm used to.." he says as he plays.
Kit's fingers tapped on his knee in time with your playing, head nodding with the beat and a grin on his lips..
It might be the neck, it's a little longer than the average on my world, but I find it shortens the tone a little, lets you focus more on fingerwork.. but you've got skill.. oughta start busking yourself.. good way to make a few bucks..
"Nah... when I say different than I'm used to, I meant a different instrument. I'm not that good... but my uncle, he was training me to be a bard when I was younger. Unfortunately I can't sing worth a lark, so that didn't go anywhere." He offers the instrument back.

Ahh, well I've heard worse man.. especialy when I was in New York..
Grinning as he adjust the strings again out of habit..
And yeah, nothing like familial plans, I've had to deal with some in my lifetime..
