"Ever have 'Nexus LOL' actually help with a problem?"

No, but it can sometimes be entertaining. *looks at Blues, notes the similarites between "her" and the alternate he met earlier* So, are you a female version of Blues, or are you the same Blues I met before but currently suffering from "Nexus LOL"?

"If you're the same one I met before, yup. Nexus, LOL. And I didn't just get gender flipped. I'm human."

Another of our alternates got genderflipped. I don't know if she's human or not. Let me guess. Was it the red and yellow Net navi that got you? How are you enjoying it so far?

By the way, a young woman was looking for you earlier. Kalinka Cossack, if I remember correctly.

"Think I met her, and yup." Blues considers it a moment before she shrugs and says, simply, "It's different."

She looks away at the mention of Kalinka. "I saw."

Kalinka had called her at home, too. Blues didn't know just how she'd been tracked down yet.

Is there any particular reason that you're avoiding her?

"She deserves better."

And who are you to make that decision for her? She is an adult. She is old enough to make her own decisions, don't you think?

"Someone who doesn't want to hurt her. There's not really a decision to make here. She needs to move on with her life. She can't expect me to be there forever." Blues shakes her head.

Hmmm. I learned a hard lesson about trying not to hurt others. Sometimes you do more damage than good. Have you considered discussing the matter with her? It is her welfare you are trying to protect.

"No, I'm standing out in the open in the Nexus for my health," Blues snaps. A moment later she shakes her head and sighs. She'd been irritable since the change, and the rest of the situation didn't make it better.

"She called me at home."

*Blues is already used to dealing with Dark Blues' bitchiness. He can handle this Blues' bitchiness easily enough.* What did she have to say?

"Had Tango answer. She wanted to meet me here. It's a bad idea."

And yet, it seems Blues is doing it anyway, since she's standing in a fairly visible area of the Nexus.

I think it is a good idea. What harm can it do?

"More than I'd like to see."

If it is a mistake, it is one I think she will thank you to make.

"Would she?" Blues says absently. "Even if it still means saying goodbye?"
