Skylar steps forward. "I took piano lessons for a few years... mind if I give it a try?"

Not a problem.
::as neither he nor Sel are mid-song, relinquishes the bench::

He slides onto the bench and squints at the keys for a moment, his lesons slowly coming back to him. He starts with some very simple learners pieces, and then plays the only complex piece he ever learned by heart- the national anthem to piano music.

Actually it was the National Anthem. He grins a bit, keeping his lips over his fangs for the most part.

((oops! I misunderstood it as some kind of metaphor. Okay, then, well, assuming it's the STar Spangled BAnner and not some other country's national anthem...))

::looks slightly bemused as Skylar finishes:: You were formally taught "To Anacreon on High?"

::forgets the tendency to set the Star Spangled Banner to this tune::
