*appears in a flash of light and looks around* Hm. This doesn't look like the future that navi described to me. *looks at a device in his hands with a slight frown and mutters* I must have done something wrong ( Read more... )

Yes and no. Of course, almost everyone I've met who's from a world like mine is from the future, so I've had a lot of experience getting used to it. *grins* And I've done more than ask what the future is like. I got technology from it, too!

*chuckles* I've personally only met one person from the future, and he was a navi. Rockman, I think his name was.

Really? That must be interesting.

Hey, Rockman's my Net Navi! *stares* He traveled to the past? When did that happen?

It's great! There's technology in the future that lets Net Navis come into the real world!

Ah, then you must be the "Netto-kun" he spoke of. It was a little over a year ago. He'd chased a...Darkloid, I believe it was...through a time tunnel of some sort to the past. He ended up getting into trouble with the police, so Baryl-san enlisted my aid to help him.

Really? Impressive.

*blinks, looking surprised to see someone from the past, rather than the future* Well, if there's nothing to prove to the contrary, it might be best to believe them.

And I don't think it's selfish to ask.

I suppose that's a good point. *pauses and blinks* Wait...Hikari Yuuichirou?

Er...yes. It's Dr. Hikari now.

Dr...? I see. You must be from the future then. You're still an intern at SciLabs in my time. *chuckles*

*resists the urge to rub the bridge of his nose. Oh, this has all sorts of potential to lead to unpleasant things, depending on what this Shuuseki is like* With my current experience, yes, I would believe them. I personally do not feel that asking about your future will do any damage, as your future may very well be different from the future they came from.

*looks startled at seeing a navi in the real world* I see... Forgive me if I seem rude, but how are you in the real world? Are you from the future as well?

Yes, I am from the future, but the reason I am in the real world is because I am human, Ijuuin-san.

Human...? How did that happen?

Ugh. Investing in plastic surgery would be nice.

*Excited! A younger Shuuseki...hopefully doesn't even know who Enzan is! He tried to hide his excitement.*

I would say it doesn't hurt to believe them. But I wouldn't ask about how your company is going to do in the future...you will find out when you get there! Why ruin the surprise, sir?

It would give me peace of mind to know that I'm finally successful or not.

*Frowns* Having that very knowledge might ruin your success since you might not work as hard as you would if you had no idea. Get what I am saying? If you don't know...you will work hard to make it happen. But if you do know? You might not put as much effort into it thinking, 'well if it's going to happen.' Maybe you should ask silly fluffy questions like "Am I going to get married?" or "Am I going to have kids."

On the contrary, if I knew it would succeed, I'd work harder to make sure it does succeed. And if I heard it doesn't succeed, then I'll work all the harder to make sure it does succeed.

Thanks to Hikari Netto, I don't need to ask those kinds of questions. I'm assuming you are an Enzan? The adult one?
