In the picture space he draws a square topped with a triangle: the universal child symbol for house. Then he points his pencil at Little Evan and back to the drawing.
"My house? I live at Grampa's house. What your name little boy? I'm Evan." He says happily. Evan doesn't get to see many other children. Excited? Absolutely!
Sasha blinks, then smiles, crouching down to bring her eyes level with his, her skirts pooling around her on the floor. "Hello, young man," she greets him, her voice soft as usual. "My name is Sasha. My house is large, and dark, and old. What is your name?"
Evan watches his younger self with the boy for a few minutes. Little Evan's excitement is kind of cute. He grins and looks over the boy. He looks familiar. He reads the writing.
"I don't have a house. I live in a very large apartment above a shop."
