Become an icon that they can follow, a symbol for their cause. Spread the truth about corruption, and people will follow. Perhaps not in great numbers at first, but they will come.

Well, for starters, you typically show them undeniable proof of that corruption and how it can and will effect them. That fighting and possibly dying to protect all they've come to care for is better than just allowing those bastards to keep screwing them over.

...Unfortunately, you're probably planning to work with humans, and from what I've seen, humans tend to be lazy and stupid. I'd say that the best you could hope for would be a great tragedy hitting close to where you live, and whipping the survivors into a frenzy afterward. But then again, seeing what I have... *shrugs* You may just be screwed, kid.
