"I've been thinking lately about the subjective nature of time here, and that inspired me to review stories of time travel, and that brought me to Doctor Who. This part will make a lot more sense to people who know the Doctor, or have heard the stories. I've come to wonder something: does the Doctor operate on some sort of Schrodinger's cat

Yeah, I can manipulate time. To a small degree, at least.

Basic things. Slowing down, speeding up, limited time travel. That sort of thing.

Um... not really. I'm one of the few that can do it.

"Ah. Interesting." She smiles. "May I ask how you do it?"

Magic. To be more specific, a magic ocarina. Being the Hero of Time might be part of it, too, though I don't know whether being the Hero has given me the time powers, or having the time powers has made me the Hero.
