this has been bothering me for a while: say there's this guy from another world, who doesn't look like you, doesn't act like you, but he's the result of the same sperm that conceived you impregnating a different woman...

would the correct term for such a person be alternate or half-brother?

and is it generally considered bad form to shoot him?
