His eyes widen a little, than narrow. "I suspect we would all suffer if your brother was lost, Lady.

He looks at her, wishing for a greater clue to her loyalties.

"A good place for it. Your family's been looking for you." She lets that sink in a moment before continuing. "It's funny, watching them run around, like it's the end of the world and you're late..."

Her next breaks his reserve and he laughs bitterly. "Oh, I won't be late for that. I'm looking forward to it."
