Sorry I've been gone. Does anyone know a good, cheap place to lease an apartment in Gotham?

And if not, when did you finally set out on your own?

The entirety of Gotham, except for the rich areas in the hills and such, is pretty damend cheap. I don't know about good. But I hear that, for example, during low budget seasons some unscrupulous officials rent out sections of City Hall to squatters.

Man. Gotham.

But in all honesty I'd take Gotham over Metropolis. No, seriously. The worst thing that ever happened to me in Gotham was that I got laughed at maniacally and there was a period where it was a bad idea to eat the fish. In Metropolis we had five runaway trains, two alien invasions, a revolt by mutant underdwellers, a technological hyper-redesign of the city that played havoc with the bus routes, a permutation of the Anti-Life Equation, and Lobo. All in the same week.

I'll probably stay in the Narrows, much as I hate it. 'S where my friends are.

Really? Huh. There was the mass Arkham escape a while ago...

There is no such thing as a mass Arkham escape. Arkham operates on a level of perma-escape, with the occasional outbreak of internments whenever a more introspective storyline comes along.

The people of Central City love Lobo. Of course, he -did- drunkenly crash into the local DMV at one in the morning. Then he spent an hour jumping up and down on the wreckage.
