Belial!Charlene blinked at the child. "What's a school?

The prettiest? I'm not sure, there are many pretty people that I have met. I don't think I could decide."

"A school is a place you go to learn things! And if you don't know you should see my mommy in a dress! She is the prettiest person ever!"

She nodded. "Oh? I was created with all the knowledge I needed." She smiled. "Who would your mother be?"

"Elia! Elia Elric!" Nods happily. "She is the best mommy ever..." Then he mumbles something...you can't hear him...

"I like school a lot, because I get to learn all kinds of things there. And for prettiest person, it's a three-way tie."

[mommademeshort]

"Mhmm! School's going to help me become the best alchemist ever! Do you want another piece of chocolate? I always have a lot because my mommy always makes them for me! Who's the tie between?" He pulls out a piece of chocolate and offers it to her.

"Thank you. It's a tie between Sasha, Mortimer, and the Count."

"Well you need to see my mommy too! Have you seen her anywhere? She's the prettiest you know." He nods his head.

Utena pops up out of nowhere yet again!

"I really don't like my old school 'cause it's a bad place! And Himemiya was always really pretty to me! Hi Sketch!"

She smiles--She's very tired for not getting sleep the last two nights, but she's happy to see her little friend.

"HI UTENA!" He glomps her. "Why is your school bad? You didn't get to learn there? And who is Himemiya? And you look tired. Are you okay? Maybe some chocolate of some ice cream will help! Do you want some?"

She stumbles a bit and hugs!

"Because there's a bad man that uses everyone in it for his own goals. I learned a lot of things, but they weren't normal things."

She nods.

"Himemiya's my best friend. She grows roses and makes really, really good shaved ice."

She gives a tired little smile and yawns.

"I'm not really hungry right now, but thank you..."

"Oh...okay. You should get some sleep! You look tired! Not sleeping is bad for you! I can make a bed for you right now and you can get some rest? Okay?" Starts scratching a transmutation circle, straining hard to remember all the right details of it. He wants to make it perfect...

"I find school has any number of charms, not the least of which is the opportunity to learn not only from experimentation and the instruction of a teacher, but also from the examples of all the peers who surround a student. And it is a poor teacher indeed who does not learn something from her students, as well. Though I must agree, the occasional break is very nice." She smiles. "As for great beauty, I have never seen one to surpass my beloved Alison and Mortimer, and our children-to-be."

"Yeah. School is good because I get to learn and grow smart and know how to do alchemy better! Miss Alison is pretty but I think that my mommy is prettier!"

She smiles, not disputing the claim. What kind of person would she be, to argue with a child's love for his mother? Not the kind she is, certainly.

I never actually bothered with school, I was just too smart for them all!
