*Quint recognizes the name, though what he knows about MMX history is very patchy. The smile falters a bit and he looks at Dr. Cain almost as if studying him* I've heard of you. You're who Sigma took my baby brother to. Or will.

*Quint scowls at Dr. Light* You stay out of this. I want to know who this person is and what he does to my little brother. If he has anything to do with why Zero doesn't remember us, I want to know about it.

And if he panics? Imagine the public outcry when the public finds out the truth about Zero. Are you really so curious that you'll destroy more lives?

Listen, I didn't do anything to his memory circuits. All I did was repair him to the body specifications I found in his memory, and then turned him back on...

*Quint sighs and nods slightly* The future versions of him I've met here don't remember us. I don't know why yet. Or how he ends up alone like that.

*nods* Your creator... Wily... he'll use it as one last way to get what he wants, and destroy what Dr. Light built...

*Quint looks uneasy, remembering the nightmares. The road sign in Japanese. Neo-Tokyo, where Dr. Light's lab was... But his mind fights off letting the last piece of the puzzle fall into place.*

*bitterly* That schweinehund... He would do something like that, no matter what it would do to Zero. He doesn't really care about any of us.

I heard from the others that Zero's supposed to be activated soon. Sometime tonight, or tommorow.

Dr. Wily will be dead early next year. Maybe in just a few weeks. I don't know how to get into the Castle, but maybe Cole will know some way to help if I can't get to Zero before he gets infected. Or maybe there's some way... *he cuts off, frowning, as he thinks of why he knows that could help*

As soon as he's gone we can try to get Zero to shut down until we can get rid of the virus, if he already has it.
