Birthday ideas Locked to Tom Riddle, little__riddle

Ok, my adopted son's birthday is coming up in another month or so. I've never had a child before, and I don't have alot (read ANY) experience with magical children - and yes, he's a magician in the making, and will be going to Hogwarts someday. Hopefully.

So what does one get a seven year old magic user for their birthday anyhow?

Whatever you'd get any other seven year old. Just 'cause a kid can use magic doesn't mean they have three heads or something. Have him write a letter to Santa and see what he wants.

I don't know what to get any other seven year old either. I mean - is Doctor Suess too young? Stuffed animals?

But the letter to Santa bit is good, I'll do that. Thanks.

I'm reading the dictionary, but most people are weird and don't like to.

Maybe we'll hold off and do that next year or something. *grins*

Stuffed animals are usually a go if the kid doesn't have one already. It's always nice to have a sidekick when you're that age. Mock-weapon of his favorite hero. Wagon. Treehouse or other fort-like place if you wanna get extravagant. Materials for small pranks..

*quickly scribbling it all down* Man, you're good at this.

Mock weapons, huh? Maybe I could get him a play sword, and we could duel in the back yard or something.

Pranks are cool, Only - NO GLITTER. None. I have a sister that uses a ton of the stuff, don't need my son to do it too.
