Dear lady, you are a shining gem among women. /takes her hand and bows over it/ Your name, my lady?

...Fun him out? I hesitate to admit my ignorance, but I fear I am unfamiliar with this turn of phrase. /smiles sheepishly/

I...don't know how to explain it....

It is an honour, Lady Kami. /bows again, pressing his lips lightly to the back of her hand/

Alas. I shall remain uninformed, then.

Did he go through something really emotional shortly before his personality changed?

Yes. The murder of his father, among many and varied other happenings.

Are you sure it's the same guy? He wouldn't happen to have any ill tempered twins or lookalikes nearby.

Yes. I know him better than my own self. If it were not he, I would be aware.

Ye have to find out what's wrong first. Whether or not that involves trapping him somewhere and trapping him depends on what ye can get out o' him and his friends.

Remind him every day of the way he was. A friend used to do this for me, and it kept me together for so much longer than I would have without that.

There is none closer to him than myself, and I know not. What other could know him better than I?

I have attempted this, but he grows sullen and will not speak to me. Or worse still, flees my presence in favour of his...queen. /bitter scowl/

Then, like I said, trap him. Force him to listen to ye. But be calm and gentle.

I don't really know how to explain it, because I wasnae myself when it was being done to me, but it helps immensely.

I would do this thing in a moment, sir, were it not that he is my king and not my friend alone. I could no more hold him against his will than I could cut off mine own hand. But I thank thee for thy aid.
