So... Sages.
When I got caught up in that whole world-saving thing some months ago, I was pretty much traveling with Vincent Valentine the whole time. He was kinda cold at first, even kind of a bastard sometimes. But he got better and by the end of it all he really wasn't all that bad to be around. Even though he did kinda run off to keep doing his "I am a mysterious nomad" thing afterwards.
Anyway.
So, every so often, he drops by to say hi. Which is cool. He'll stay for a while, we'll catch up on stuff, he'll say goodbye and he'll leave. It's kinda cool to have him just hanging around the house. My mom thinks he's great. My chocobo likes having his chocobo around. It's a good deal. And lately he's been staying longer and longer, now a couple days at a time. It's starting to feel more like he's a member of the household than a guest. And, uh, that's kind of where the problem is.
He still thinks of himself as a guest, and insists on "not taking any more of our time" and such. It's starting to get annoying. Mom and I both like having him around, we wouldn't really mind if he crashed here permanently, and it's not like he's got anywhere to go...
Should we try telling him that he's welcome to stay here? Do you think he would listen if we did?
