Evil allergies of death!!!! And I thought I'd make it through this spring w/out getting sick. Ha. I woke up multiple times during the night clogged, achy, and restless, then had to get up for a PSA thing at 9:30. I didn't mind having to be there, I just wish I had slept better and felt less ickish. So, I came back to school, ate lunch and took some dayquil, and took a 3 hour nap. *holla*. I still feel achy, etc, but I know it did me some good to rest for a little while. At least I won't be sick closer to exams, thank goodness.
It snowed at home today...*gasp*. It was spring, the last time I checked. When I called Mom this morning, it was already sticking to the ground, and it's supposed to continue all day. And I wouldn't mind this cold spell if my windows were actually sealed...it's like a wind tunnel in here *brrrrrrrrrr*. Needless to say, I haven't needed my A/C lately.
If you're in the Charlotte area for any particular reason, and need an okay dance club, check out Bar Charlotte. It's kinda sketch (lots of drunken men, and a few stripper-esque contraptions for the ladies to enjoy...ahem.), but it covers just about every genre in terms of atmosphere and music playlist. And it was only a $5 cover. We went for Britt's Bday celebration and had a grand old time.
I had my first guitar lesson on Thursday...I learned like 8 chords! I'm so excited about being able to play. :)
I've been approached by a prof to housesit for her for the WHOLE summer, and it would cost less than $75 for me per month to live there!!! I still don't really know whether I'll live there or at PSA again; we'll see. Part of it depends on my summer job situation; I should hear about the Gvegas internship w/in the next week. I'm soooo glad things are starting to fall into place!
