Onward
Work is still a drag. I've been on second shift for roughly a month, just enough time to get used to that routine, and I hear I might be going back to thirds. At least I'm getting moderate hours again, 36 this week in four days. We may be going to 4 day/10 hour shifts which I wouldn't mind so much.
The thing, drinks or what-have-you, with the awesome girl never happened due to some failings in communication, she never called me back. I'm not really feeling that bummed. No I haven't been stood up before, but that's because I never put myself in that position. It simply wasn't meant to be and I'm past it.
I heard from Yelley the other day and finally got over to see her apartment. It was nice catching up with her.
I went to see 300 in IMAX last night and it did not disappoint. It was visual and visceral and glorious. This is the beginning of a great year in action cinema.
