Westminster, CO to Clarksville, AR

Oops! I forgot a few days :/ ah well. Time to fill in! So spent another day in Westminster, CO, long story short my friend is really busy and spent most of the day studying. He's taking an extra class so he can fill out his resume for Medical school. On top of that he's studying for the MCAT. So I ended up relaxing and putzing around all day. His mom made a wonderful meal for dinner, and we had a fun conversation about politics and how about young people are all democrats, etc. It was fun :) Afterwords, David and I went to see the movie The Hangover to do something fun (I don't think he gets out much! :<) The movie was awesome and hilarious, if you like that kind of movie, GO SEE IT.

Anywho, the following morning I got up and left around 8am (amazing I know) when David got up and left for class. I miscalculated the driving time to Raton, NM so I got to the hotel around 130. Heh. It was ok though cause I was tired as hell... because I can't make myself sleep early :< So I took a nap, explored the town on foot, and goofed off.

The next day I drove from Raton, NM to Clinton, OK. I can't really say much about the drive. I feel like I finally crossed into humidity territory, and things became green again. Overall, the whole green thing was awesome. I guess the heat is worse, but seriously the green is worth it over the desert.

Today I drove from Clinton, OK to Clarksville, AR. Long drive again. Everything is still green! Huzzah. Unfortunately still not much to talk about, except for the fact that there's a lot of traffic now compared to when I was farther west. This is somewhat inconvinient but eh. The drive is still ok. EXCEPT FOR THE ROAD AROUND OKLAHOMA CITY. It's concrete slabs with what feels like a seam every 10ft. It's so goddamn bumpy... I hate it.  Anyhow, Clarksville is nice enough, the scenery is still green and the people here seem nice. Tomorrow it's onward to Brownsville, TN... with a visit to GRACELAND!

P.S. ! HAPPY FATHER"S DAY and be great fathers!
