Day 3: Salem to Crescent City

So the day started off well enough, Steven wanted to make us breakfast but from the sound of it Rebecca kept him up all night with her explorations of the new WAR test realm content. So we got up, then Holly got up, and made us pancakes. Yay Holly! Steven and Rebecca got up eventually, which was good because they had a shirt of mine and my belt. That and I would have hated to leave before saying goodbye to them :( They're so cool and I had a great time and they are awesome :D.
The drive was pretty uneventful, allthough about 100 miles into our drive... the check engine light came back on again :( The car is still running fine, but it means we really need to have it looked over once we hit LA. :( Booo. Also, lotta pretty scenery along the oregon coast. Took a bunch of pictures on the digital camera and a bunch on slide film, will be posting those to my facebook account once I get to a place with a faster internet connection. if anyone is interested in seeing them but don't know who I am, let me know in a message or something and I'll think about hooking you up.
So now we're in Crescent city. This is the first night where I found and booked the hotel, and I did good :D. It's pretty simple but clean and cool looking. The whole thing was apparently made from a single redwood tree. Mostly just paneling and doors and stuff, but still cool, and perfectly nice, and... cheap :D Tonight for dinner I had a plethora of seafood, scallops, fish, squid, and shrimp. All yummy and fresh. It was raining pretty much all day, but it's been good.
