Dear Elijah,
I fully understand why you try to avoid the big movies. The stardom after LOTR, Troy, and Pirates has become a nightmare.
It is very crazy and fucked up life I have to live right now. If I had more insight into my future, would have chosen a lot more smaller films right after LOTR. The roles that were offered to me were too tempting to turn down. Even if it has become a circus around my life, I would not change anything. However, now I wish it could calm down.
It has become such pressure. How did you ever manage to handle it? You probably seen or heard what happen around me. It looks like everyone keeps track of me. Sometimes it feels like I cannot put my toes outside the door without a camera lens reflecting my every move.
I knew how hard it could be to keep the popularity up, especially in between films. Right now, I have not signed up for a new film. I did take some time off after making so many right after each other.
Do you want to help me to start some new gossip? I thought that we could go out on the town. What do you say? It has been some time since we last caused ruckus in the pubs. I missed those times.
What are you up to otherwise? I saw Oxford Murders. It was awesome!
