Rido bat plushie! XD
If you've tagged along with my VK ramblings for a while, you might have seen me mention before that I like plushies, and that I want to try making myself some VK plushies, but ended up never having time to try much. ^^/
(It's such a pity that there exists no official VK plushies. ;-; I'm sure they'd have been adorable.<3
There are some massproduced bootleg ones, some of which have adorable Zero ones, but they don't all live up to the details of uniform etc., and the Kaname plushie is not good, missing shirt etc...
Despite the issues and I still got myself two Zero ones because he was cute and I'm obsessed, but I'm waiting on Kaname. ^^;;
*would never have bought the bootlegs if official VK plushies existed, but since they don't, well, it's not as bad, since at least it's not copies of an existing official plushie, which would be the worst. ^^;;)
Well, today I ended up having some time but didn't have computer access during that time, so I couldn't do any fanarts or fanfics... I did however have access to doll-stuff (tiny doll clothes-making stuff, mostly), and so I latched for some felt and miniature buttons, and...
...Ridobat was born. XD; *lol*
If you remember, in the VK Guilty anime opening, there's a moment where a Ridobat flies by, with an eye blue and one red like Rido. Well, this plushie, is, err, that version. XD; (A lot more chibified, of course. XD XD *lol*)
His eyes are tiny doll-clothes buttons, and his body etc. is felt. ^^
The red ribbon symbolizes the blood of his victims, haha~ XD;;
Originally, I was going to make Zero & Kaname plushies, but several problems happened (due to me failing at plushie making XD XD *lol*), and so I ended up making something else as practice, with the idea that some other time I'll try again and make a proper pattern to make Kaname & Zero. :D
(Not in simple bat format, hopefully. XD;; *wants to make actual character plushies, but it's time consuming* I might need to get nicer fabric too. ^^;)
I had originally meant to make beady-eyed Zero & Kaname kitties, in which the only thing telling it was Z & K would have been the kitties' fur color, Zero being black with a grey head and Kaname white with a brown head.
It ended up changing to an all black & simple bat instead. XD; *lol*
His mouth is quite a bit off to the side because a) I fail at planning before stitching XDD and b) after the initial mess-up I thought it would be cute this way and continued like that. XD;; But maybe it looks weird after all. ^^;
You can see that he has tiny arms/hands too, with the left one up to wave at his potential victims passing nearby. XD *lol*
Please ignore my watch behind him, he won't stand by himself so I propped him up. XD XD *lol*
He has bat wings behind. ^^
He seems so happy. XD I bet he's plotting something bad. XD XD *lol*
