It seems that not every business is turning sour in light of the season. One of my best traders docked this morning with quite an interesting selection of exotic merchandise from Australia and southeast Asia. Fair prices and excellent conduct, as always ( Read more... )

It was never my intention to let the animal eat anyone, as I had predicted such an outcome. That was entirely the servant's mistake.

Quite a big mistake... they are dead.

Trust me, I had no intention of "punishing" it, if that's what you mean. Poor creature couldn't swallow what it began and simply choked to death. Such a sorrowful loss.

Maybe a smaller snake next time? One that won't choke on a full grown person.

Ah, but I've such a liking for larger breeds. I'd rather lose a few slaves than trade in my preferences, personally.
