I slept late because aside from watching 2 korean-horror movies, I got tempted and watched Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children Complete. I was supposed to watch it today, but the additional scenes, the added storyline, and the animation - I couldn't resist!

Okay, my take on Advent Children Complete - this might be long, and full of rambles.

They sorta changed the storyline a bit - just a bit, so that it'll mesh well with the added scenes. And I noticed that the added scenes were actually scenes of the first trailers of Advent Children before it came out around '05 - which in my opinion is very cool cus I remembered when I bought the dvd back then, and I was looking for some of the scenes that I saw in the trailers and they weren't there. But they actually put it here. Awesome.

And I think this one has more heart in it. Cloud is still the anti-hero, the protagonist, his inner struggles pulls him in, and his so-called selfishness drives him away from those that he really cared most (and he thought he was doing the right thing, poor Cloud).
In the end, good still wins, and the bad - diminished (for now hahaha XD).

Okay, I got a few pointers -

• Cloud reminds me of Ruki so much. I don't even know why, all I know is that when the first trailer came out a few years ago, I just went all "Rukiiiii!", and now with this one, I went all "Rukiiii...!" over again. It must be the hair, or the height lol, okai, Cloud is actually taller, he's 5'7"-ish I believe, feel free to correct me in this.
• Rufus Shinra reminds me of Saga of Arisu, don't ask, just that when he took off that veil from his face, Saga popped into my head. What.
• Tifa - well, boobs still big despite EVERYTHING. *hides* And, did she go to a nail spa or something? I spotted her nails in the ending, they were baby-pink! ButIdolikeTifaokay.
• Vincent reminds me of Aoi/Tora. It's a mix. Aoi - due to the dark hair, and that's it. Tora due to the dark hair as well, and height. And the voice. But once Vincent starts talking, he reminds me of those old-lit books. I do like Vincent, just that when he starts talking - it's so brooding, so dark, so gothic. And he IS brooding like - "I cannot go with you because I have my own problems blahhhh..." It's like talking to a rice-cooker. And rice-cookers are boring. XD
• Sephiroth → I actually have this poster, except it has the movie and kanji blahhhh - he reminds of...*thinks* hnnn, Gackt?! *smacks self*. No, Sephiroth owns himself. And his long-ass Masamune~!! Okay, his foreplayfight with Cloud was extended, longer, more bad-ass, and he HURT Cloud. A LOT. Cloud bled. And I went all - "Nooooo, don't hurt Cloud...!" And when it was Cloud's turn to kick Sephiroth's ass, I went all - "Noooo...not Sephiroth!" Yeah, I can't choose where my TRUE loyalty is(?).
• I really like Cloud's huge penisbad-ass bike. It's awesome. So many compartments. And it's BLACK.
• I'm still wondering how Kadaj's Souba was able to fight-off Cloud's First Tsurugi. I mean Souba looked like a SMALL katana compare to First Tsurugi. Or Kadaj is quite strong...yeah, probably it.
• Vincent feet's HUGE/LONG. Wtf-desu-ka.
• I like Vincent's Cerberus. I WANT IT.
• Blood, there was blood. And I LOVED it.
• This is just priceless. How Cloud was able to hang on like that without screaming in pain, I'm awed. But then again, they're both strong.
• I can never get enough of One Winged Angel. And Black Water. And that Highway Chase-whatsis music.
• So Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz were NAKED when Reno and Rude (along with Elena and Tsang(sp?)) found them, and then by magic they were clad in bad-ass leather.
• The visual effects (as always) NEVER fails to astound me. Everything seems so REAL. And another reason why I like this much better than Advent Children is because the characters seemed more human. You actually see bruises, blood, dirt etc in this movie.
• Cloud's seiyuu is the dude who voiced over Kaede Rukawa (slam dunk). Sephiroth's the dude who voiced over Homura (Saiyuki). And Kadaj's Ginji Amano (Get Backers). Okay, they voiced over a lot of animes but those the most popular ones, and feel free to correct me, I'm relying on my stock knowledge.
• What else can I ramble about? Oh yeah, the final scene - that fight between Cloud and Sephiroth, it's more awesome and instead of the Omnislash Version 5, he used the Omnislash Version 6. Bad-ass. Yes.
• Reno reminds me of Uruha. Don't ask. *hides*
• Kadaj reminds me of Hyde. LOL.

Alright, I think I've covered enough pointers (in my case), but I might ramble about it still for the next few days cus I know I will watch it all over again ufufufu.

Things to do today -

~ go out. I want cupcakes.
~ deep conditioned my hair.
~ clean my room.
~ take out my laundry.
~ finish Yukan Club marathon.
~ work around Photoshop CS3.

As for the two Korean horrors/psycho-horrors, I just rummaged through my dvds and grabbed To Sir, With Love, and The Uninvited. Both are good, esp the former, I really love that one. It's very gritty, very original. The latter, first time I bought the dvd, I watched it along with my brother, and I think it was during All Hallows Eve - so we pretty scared the shit out of ourselves after watching it cus it's a psychological horror movie, and my brother and I were laughing the morning after cus I told him how I couldn't turn around to face my room cus I might see something and just ended up staring at the wall, while he was too scared to go out and pee cus he might see the two dead kids on our dining table. Good times. XD
