Merry Christmas

Merry chritmas one and all.

First off, this year was SO much better than last year. Mum was a tinsy bit teary in the morning, but she went out for a walk with the dog and came back fine. The walk got me nicely impatient for my presents and they were all very good. My pleasants were all well received, my sister's habitat vouchers being praised as a clever choice by all since she's moving house in january and my dad's slippers being what he'd asked for. My present to mum was somewhat outclassed by my sister buying her this expensive gilet (sleeveless jacket thing) that my mum had seen in the sales and gone mad for. It was aparently over the budget my mum wanted spent on her, but she was so happy she burst into tears, and it's the first time i've seen her cry cos she's happy in a very long time so it was good even if I didn't get it for her.

As for me, I got.

My fencing breeches- Cannot be used till january so i'd best make sure i can still fit in them by then, but YAY fencing.
My sweater dress- Still looks gorgeous on me. :)
Pirates of the Carribean 2- Which is off the awesome.
Le vicomte de Bragelonne- Next in the series of "the three musketeers" course there are apparently too more volumes to the thing so i'm not done spending money on the series most like but oh well good books are good books :)

A necklace(Red) from my sister. Saw them on spitalfields (if i recall their might have been ones i thought prettier at the time but i don't want to tell my sister that, and I like the red, it'll go with just about everything in my wardrobe :P) their great cos you can wear them as a necklace in very different styles and also as a belt). I also got a magnet showing a woman with a gun saying "back away from the chocolate cake." this is just excellent I must find somewhere good to put it :D

A big zip up fleece from grandma- a variation on what she got everyone but the kind of fleece that is incredibly useful and incredibly warm. Yayness.

We then had a turkey, we didn't even finish HALF of it it was that big, and I have also had lots of chocolate cake. I hope i can still FIT in these pants come january, but i guess i know what i'm eating all week...turkey sandwiches. Ah well such is post christmas tradition no?:P

Had a nap earlier, this was a bad idea as it was late enough in the day that i woke up when it was dark and my body was all shakey and woozy again. I feel better now though although still a bit tired, much less fuzzy and woozy. I just have to learn that naps don't agree with me though.

Anyway s'been a good christmas
