It's official. I'm suffering writers block. I'm supposed to write a piece for a uni magazine, and I don't want to write on the original topic I chose, and I started a new one, but I just can't seem to get it going, I need to stop and let it go and come back I think. Or get some new ideas. heh.
There is a book I love, its called loaded by Christos Tsiolkas. I read it two years ago for cultural studies, and I can read it over and over. The first time i read it, I'll admit, I was shocked by its graphic description, but he makes some great observations and I can't not read.
Solidarity, like love, is a crock of shit. The rich don't fear the unionised worker, they don't fear the militant. They fear the crim, the murderer, the basher. Crime doesn't pay but it is the only form of rebellion open to us. And to survive the thief must eschew solidarity
