My mother believes that ninjas are entirely fictional beings created for the purpose of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

She also refuses to believe that their existence is common knowledge.

Such things as ninja movies apparently do not exist in my mother's world. Her world is a scary place - one I hope to god I never have the misfortune of visiting. It is (obviously) the glimpses into this world the fuel most of my LJ posts as I need an outlet for the scary.
