High On 29
Turning 29 in 2009 was a lot more exciting then I had expected.
28th May, Sunday
6.30am - Eve picked me up for RP Run
7.30am - Run starts
10.30am - Bfast at Novena Sq with Eve and Foo
3.30pm - M for logo design & HTHT
7.30pm - Dragged to Green Castle @ Yio Chu Kang Road and I had no idea why
8.00pm - Beckoned to the bbq area and I had no idea why
Then, within a short distance of 2m from the bbq area, I looked up and saw Alex...... Jordan.... Hermann..... and the candle on the cake that was burning brightly right in front of me.
Woah! SURPRISE BIRTHDAY BBQ! Imagine the shock!
I'd not been surprised like that for a donkey years already, the feeling was sooooooooooo surreal!!

My birthday board-card. It's green! =)
30th May, Tuesday
SS10 Tradeshow big day. I woke up to a lovely message, got crooned to an early morning birthday song during our dry run, and received so many sincere hugs and warm wishes from everyone I met! My mobile phone sms beeped all day, I received flowers and cake, and family decided to eat out for a change. I got my birthday song sung again in 3 versions @ Tonkichi. Then I got home, went online for a while, and FB wall's been busy with well-wishes as well. Oh I feel so loved, and this loving is so greatly appreciated at this point in my life.
So, I turned 29 yesterday.
I'm thinking if this is what 29 feels like. I feel young, yet society tells me I'm getting old. I feel settled and I've never been more sure of myself. If you asked if I'd rather be 22 again, I'd tell you with a smile, "No, thank you, I like it better now."
