Escapism
I've been spending too much time in my own head freaking out about whether or not I'm getting the job I want. There really should be no reason for me to stress since I got a call from the temp agency saying there's a 2-3 month job starting next week. Hopefully that means that no matter what I'll be employed again (a scary thought all on it's own).
There is absolutely nothing I can do at this point to affect anything, so I've been reading and sleeping a lot. Unfortunately, all of the books I grabbed from the house are ones I've read before...and most of them I've read multiple times. In the past couple of months I've re-read almost all of them and in the past couple of weeks I've been reading about 1 book per day. Does anyone have a collection I can raid? For the most part I've been reading sci-fi and fantasy (shockers there) and at the moment I seem to be more interested in fluff in those genres. I know I *could* just go to the library but that just doesn't sound like any fun at all. :)
