Because I'm slack, I'm only now posting the second part of this HP fic which really isn't so long as to merit three posts, but oh well. The first part can be found here, and there will be one more part, soon
( Read more... )
OMFG!! You know I have been toying with what is going on b/w Hermione and Ron for so long... Ever since the Krum dating and all... But I just love your piece!!!! OMG!!! I'm hoping to read the last part and SOOONNNN!!!
Thank you so much, Mesa! (I know your other name, but can I call you Mesa? I like that for a nickname!) I have to admit that I love Ron/Hermione as a canon pairing, but I don't usually read fanfic about them together because it tends to get quite smushy. I like to think that with this story I've taken them to an extreme that is actually quite possible, but won't ever be seen in the books.
I can't even begin to describe what this story does to me. There so much here, layers on layers, I don't know where to start explaining. First, I guess, your writing is beautiful. Dark, so slightly disturbing, dripping with bitter and at the same time...melancholy. I envy. I really do.
And Hermione! Man, I don't know if this is what you were aiming for at all, but I have never seen a Hermione like this. She's strong and then fragile and so, so human.
All three of them are so fallible and REAL it hurts.
I've read and re-read this at least three times since I got home for school. And I'm certain I'll be back again.
It hurt me to write this! LOL. I was never sure which way Hermione was going to go; she's a mixed-up little girl, the poor dear. It was hard to let these three stumble around in my head and not know how to help them (I'm sure you understand about characters in the head and all! ;)). I really appreciate your comments though.
