Happy New Years everybody!

Resolutions:

1. Don't slip back into my ED. It's OK to overeat now and then, just as it's OK to cut back a bit without halting the eating process all together. I can eat, I can gain a few pounds, I can lose a few pounds, and it can all be in complete moderation. I won't slip back into the craziness that I had been in that I'm so thankful to mainly be out of.

2. BE CONFIDENT. Stop doubting myself, stop assuming that otehrs are always better than me, stop this constant fear that I never tell anyone about. Stop stop stop, must have confidence. I've always been the "smart kid" in school, but this year, I've really realized how much respect I have and how much I've achieved. And it's not like it *just happened*, I've been doing it all along, I really must be doing something right! I just never really noticed until now just how right I must have been doing stuff. This is me, and it's working out, so there's no reason not to be confident!

3. Um, I'm pretty sure I have some sort of panic disorder, for reasons that I really don't feel like describing now, though I do get fairly frequent panic attacks. But anyway, I want to start taking out a bunch of books on it, finding out something that I can do to stop it. I can't let that hold me back!

4. Appreciate what I have. I have such wonderful friends, a really caring family, and I really don't have any enemies or anybody who doesn't like me. Everyone around me is pretty awesome, so I'm very thankful for that. Also, I don't even realize how lucky I am compared to so many people. I mean, I could have been born in the Darfur region of Africa or something, but instead, I come from a caring family in a fairly well-off socioeconomic level outside of the best city in the world, with lots of great friends and plenty of opportunity. I'm pretty fucking lucky.

5. Just be happy. Remember that I really do have control over most of what happens in my life, and for the things that I don't have control over, I can control my reactions to it. It's all about the mindest and the reactions, that is *me* and I can make everything work for the best.

6. Read more, learn more, grow more. Read literary classics, read science books, read philosophy, read theology, just read read read. I love reading. I love writing as well.

7. Practice the piano more!! Must brush up on my Chopin and Rachmaninoff. I want to get really good this year before I head off to college.

8. Get a job, hehe. I need some more spending cash!

9. Be happy. I said this one already didn't I. But it's the most important one, so it's worth repeating twice.
