It's been a productive day.
Made a blog post so I'm keeping the queue stable, ate too much good food (sooooooo many strawberries) and finished the new Doctor Who wallpaper I've been meaning to make. My desktop looks a bit weird now (I had the old TARDIS one for nearly a year, I think) but I'll get used to it in time.
Found a NOLA lolita comm, joined it on here and on FB. They seem to be super friendly and not too concerned about only wearing brand, so hopefully it'll be okay if I decide to go to one of their meetups. There's a few sweet lolitas and most of them wear classic (and looking through their photos now, I recognize one of their dresses as being from Bodyline. I have officially spent too much time on the egl comm sales). Ugh, this is all so exciting. They did a meetup at Audubon park, and I hope they do one there again as it's literally across the street from Tulane and would thus be way easy for me to attend (I am not yet keen on going on the streetcar in lolita getup. I'd probably get kidnapped.)
On a more serious and important note, I need to call the Duke Eye Center on Monday to see about an appointment with a specialist. I emailed them a while back and didn't get a response and I really want (probably need) to see what can be done to fix these blasted eyes.
Hate calling people on the phones. Hate doctors. Urgh.
