Greymalkin, the cat who lives with us, is quite a hunter, regardless of her small size. Tonight, however, she brought down her most impressive prey: a baby possum.
That may not sound that impressive, but she was just sitting looking out the cat door when it happened. The possum tried to come in, and got more than it expected.
Greymalkin is now peeved at having her meal removed. Personally I reckon if we're going to keep a predator as a pet, we have to cope with her eating wildlife. But it's a pain when she brings large birds and mammals in, as they do make a terrible mess.
