My son's wedding prep
My "mother of the groom" dress is bought, including accessories. The wedding shower is scheduled and I have a shower gift. The bride got her dress a little early, so there is plenty of time for alterations. My son and his suit-less brother are using the BOGO (buy one get one) at Men's Warehouse instead of renting tuxes.
Their per-marital counseling is done: I saw the course materials and it had a good curriculum. I must say my future daughter-in-law is dealing with her mother with aplomb, as she is an only-daughter and the mother was (not intentionally) starting to take over more than the bride was comfortable with.
