The partay
I had the best night ever at D-oyle's party for Kelly. After I got off work, I went to the mall with J and Jamie, got some nice shirts, J and I picked Jane up and then we went to the fountainblue to meet up with Joel. From there we went to the party, where we had some hardcore chillin. Highlights of the night: Joel's pearls of wisdom that made me laugh my ass off, J quoting "smart girls are like snails", chillin with the marce j joel and jane, chillin with kelly, having a harem when i chilled on the cushions, smiling the whole time, picnicing on the median with jane and joel and talking about horror movies, rocking the fema trailer with j and jane and watching primer, and having perhaps the most satisfying night out with friends in forever.
this weight has been lifted off my shoulders, it feels so good to be up front with people and to settle things left unsaid for so long. it's good to just put everything out there and let other people make of it what they will with no worry or fear of what they think.
the day after consisted of stopping at the polling place so jane could vote (voting after all night parties is the best!), laying in bed, waking up feeling awesome, and now we are going to go pick up joel and go see science of sleep.
i'm so happy i've settled things with my friends, so happy i got to have a great night out with them, content with life in general at the moment, and happy to be moving at my own pace. things couldn't feel more right and okay than now.
