I'm going to let these prompts percolate overnight (I think you might be trying to kill me, the whole lot of you, because damn, no, I would never have written any of these, though that's the fun) but re: the Dee fic. I seriously need someone to bounce ideas off of for it. I don't know if it would even be a beta, though beta is always appreciated. I just really, really need an Adama consultant. If you are interested, that would be awesomesauce.

So it was both surprisingly easy and frustratingly difficult to write a happy snippet for the boys. Angst kept trying to sneak in as subtext, and I kept having to tell it to shut up, the fact that this is Gaeta/Baltar automatically gives it angsty undertones and there was absolutely no need to write it into the text. Sorry it took so long- school is kicking my ass.

Felix glanced across the crowds and found Gaius watching him intently. The president gave him a questioning look and Felix smiled slightly, turning back to his companions and waiting for an opening to politely excuse himself from the conversation.

Once he slipped away, he started in the direction Gaius had been only to realize he wasn’t there. Felix wove through the crowds towards Colonial One, taking care to avoid being drawn back into the day’s celebration by the boisterous revelers

Ok, so I couldn’t actually finangle them getting drunk. It was all I could do to wrangle this scene out of them, but I had a lot of fun with it, so I hope you enjoy. :) Also, edited for a typo.Tom meandered his way through the crowd, pausing to mingle here and there.
