I'm not good at commemorating things. Not good at talking about tragedies on this scale, so I'll let the British Royal Guards 'talk' instead. I suppose this is a good reason to remember why we have to work against hatred, since if left to fester, hatred has a tendency to murder or make monsters of us. I suppose I'm glad that Terry Jones called off his childish Qu'ran burning event, but towering over that is my sense of violation. Three thousand people died that day because nineteen men believed that hatred was their higher calling; and this supposed man of God responded by spreading his own hatred further.
