Reading

SO I STARTED READING DRACULA THE OTHER DAY, JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY. I haven't gotten very far for a lack of time- Harker hasn't even gotten to the flipping castle yet- but so far I'm finding it ridiculously adorable. Harker's got such a cheery tone, and the little notes he makes to himself about getting recipes for his fiancee are just precious.

...I've already spoiled it for myself that-

(SPOILER)

Harker is going to be a psychological wreck after Dracula's through with him. DDD:

(END SPOILERS)

THIS MAKES MARI SAAAAAAD. *tear* DUN BREAK THE CUTIE PLZKTHNX? :(((

I've also been reading The Wet Nurse's Tale, a new release by some lady whose name starts with E. (I'm too lazy to go check.) It's been good so far; the author certainly has a strong grasp of the language, anyway, and I've never found it difficult to read.

I also need to go and pick up A Game of Thrones again; I love the books for their labyrinthine plots and political intrigue, but they take so long. |D I need books I can pick up in the ten-twenty minute intervals that occur in between the times when I'm doing something else.

books, the wet nurse's tale, dracula, a song of ice and fire
