Forgot to update...
Everything's cleared up with my grandma, and I heart her dearly.
The possibility of me living with her in Los Angeles during senior year has now kinda come up; I'm not sure what I might do, really. I've already adapted to my own high school, I've made connections, etc... and although I do have a number friends who live in California, most of them don't actually live in L.A. anymore; and besides which, I think the distance between the the areas we'd live in is kind of ridiculous. Los Angeles is freaking huge. So I dunno. :\ Still, by the time senior year rolls around, the closer friends I've made here will be gone to college anyway...
But on the plus side, if all of the kids were staying with grandma, it'd be a lot more stable than this situation. On the other hand, they might be returned to mom and dad before the homestudies and whatnot can be finished... yeah, heck if I know. Looks like it's time to play the wait-and-see-what-happens game. Whee!
