Fun Fact: Every single time Tsuzuki and Muraki appear together during the opening credits of YnM, there is a very peculiar sort of wind that is blowing both of their trenchcoats in opposite directions. Strange weather they've got there in Japan, innit?

I like reading into things too, but I have the feeling I like to read into slightly different things. Symbolism tends to fly right over my head, probably because I have years of dissecting the ways facts are ignored in fanfiction under my belt. did wonder where on earth Tsuzuki learned his mad ballroom dancing skillz. Come to think of it, I've usually pictured Tsuzuki's childhood as being spent in a port city, as the child of parents that were at least comparatively well-off (In the Kyoto arc he talks about having read things in the newspapers. I don't know what the rates of literacy were back in the Meiji era, but I think my subconscious made the assumption that he would have had to have not been dirt poor, anyway).

Irony, anyone? I'm sure Muraki hated his mother's guts, and yet if we go by this he wound up basing his entire wardrobe around her.

But- but- but that's not fair! I'll bet he hasn't even had to call a plumber in years, that son of a bitch! D< I don't care if he's got more magical skills than the entire Harry Potter universe combined, he should have to at least muck around with J-traps and noxious gases like the rest of us once in awhile, damn it!

Well, y'know, it wouldn't be a bad trait to have if they wanted to avoid becoming inbred... so...
