Lookit how often I post.
I guess not too many things come around in life that are really interesting or exciting? Or, at least, when they do, I simply love them for existing, and I don't have much else to say about it. Usually, if I really have to get something off my chest, I close the laptop monitor and walk into the next room and chat with Ryn for a few hours.
But, here, I'm inspired to give a sort of update.
We've visited the new house, and it is livable. There is a ton of my Grandmother's old junk in it still, which is going to take time to clean out (I swear there are things that haven't been touched since the 1950s in there, and some of it is worth something, it looks like, which is good.) The move is still planned to be pretty much around the turn of the year, and we'll probably have a housewarming party in February or something. Bring trees. We need them. The backyard is HUGE.
Sushisamba called and said that Ryn and I get to split the prize for best costume. We think they were taking time to debate between the two of us. This amuses me endlessly, but many thanks to them, nonetheless!
I'm looking forward to Ohayocon, and just got inspired on a new costume.
Actually, I find I've just been strangely inspired on about ten different fronts, and I must say I'm still reeling.
But back to Ohayocon, we're planning on having an artist's table, and I'll see if I cannot sell some plushies or some hats or some badges. Little things, but maybe enough to help for when we move.
Life is turning, again, and in a new direction, and I'm still not sure whats going to happen, but I'm excited for the change. Making new friends, deciding on new goals, thinking about where I want to be and where I do not want to be...
its good. Its very good to be excited, again.
